About the club

Who we are, what O gauge is, and the people who keep the trains running.

Our story

North Atlanta O-Gauge Railroad Club

We're a group of hobbyists united by a love of O gauge model railroading. Members range from newcomers running their first loop of track to lifelong modelers with elaborate layouts. We meet regularly to share knowledge, run trains, and grow the hobby.

The club welcomes anyone with an interest in trains — no experience required. Come to a meeting, see what we're about, and bring your questions.

The basics

What is O gauge?

O gauge (or O scale) is one of the most popular model railroad sizes, running on track 1.25 inches wide. Its larger size makes it durable, detailed, and a favorite for both tinplate classics and highly detailed scale modeling.
